This week's word, hidden, is unique in its many facets that one cannot put into one box to share the whole truth. This week's post will be slightly different as I want to share the word hidden as a concept with a tangible application, not so much as a specific Hebrew number. Truly, with every word that comes from Yahuah, just one definition does not give us the whole meaning. I believe that is one reason Paul even writes:

"Oh, the depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways!" Romiyim (Romans) 11:33

These words definitely provoke thought and stir me to search deeper into understanding Yahuah's ONE Truth. How exciting to see His Word unveiled to us as we walk in His ways! Do you agree?

I can testify that as I walk in His ways, in obedience to His Ways, He trusts me more and reveals hidden treasures that can only brought to light when you walk with Him. There is no twisting of the words in His scriptures or a 'found on a mountain top by myself' because Yahuah has easily just hidden His profound truths in plain sight in His Word. He removes the veil and shows us the truth or the next step in obedience to Him.

For example, I have been a believer in the One True Creator for over 25 years, and it was only 7 years ago that I found out how to love Him His way! For 18 years, I read the scriptures almost every day, searched His Word, and tried to do everything He asked me to do: He be my first and only Love, be kind to others, give cheerfully, love one another, etc. However, I always felt something was missing in all that. There was! His simple instructions for life. For years, I searched for how to love my Elohim well and thought I was doing it well. I experienced prayers answered in impossible ways, the sick being healed, and unexplainable wonders happening for me and through me. Yet I missed His simple instructions. Was I doing some of those instructions? Yes, I was. But it was now time for me to grow up and choose to be more set-apart or more hidden in Yahuah.

"He who does wrong, let him do more wrong; he who is filthy, let him be more filthy; he who is righteous, let him be more righteous; he who is set-apart, let him be more set-apart." Ḥazon (Revelation) 22:11

I have always desired this, and I pray that this is what you desire. You probably would not read this if this were not your desire. If you are unsure if this is your desire, press into Yahuah! He is trustworthy to His Word!

So He shared with me and our family His simple instructions for living a blessed life that increases here on the earth, or as some may call His Torah. Psalm 119 says it well, over and over again; here is just one of the verses:

"I have treasured up Your word in my heart, That I might not sin against You." Tehillim (Psalms) 119:11

Proverbs shares more about His Word and the life-giving words that they are:

"My son, if you accept my words, And treasure up my commands with you, So that you make your ear attend to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; For if you cry for discernment, lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as hidden treasures, then you would understand the fear of יהוה, And find the knowledge of Elohim." Mishlĕ (Proverbs) 2:1-5

All this is to say, Yahuah hid secrets from me until I was ready for the next command, the next line (Yeshayah (Isaiah) 28:10). I am so thankful He trusts me with it. How life-giving it is to each of us! Be encouraged to search deep for the hidden treasures of Yahuah's Word.

Never quit, ALWAYS press on, press in, dig deep, going into the dark cloud as Mosheh encouraged all of His people, Yisra’ĕl, to do (Shemoth (Exodus) 20).

While searching for the word "hidden," I came across three additional verses I wanted to share but could not fit into the post. However, they are too good and too encouraging not to share. Please read them and their context around them and be encouraged to be more set-apart, more hidden in the Messiah:

1.     "They concoct crafty schemes against Your people, and conspire together against Your hidden and precious ones." Psalms 83:3 (AMP)

2.     "For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Messiah in Elohim." Qolasim (Colossians) 3:3

3.     "And I gave them My laws and showed them My right-rulings, 'which, if a man does, he shall live by them. And I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, to know that I am יהוה who sets them apart. Yehezqĕl (Ezekiel) 20:11 &12

Being hidden... could also mean being more set apart. Take some time and see if your life reflects a more set-apart, a more hidden-in Yahuah lifestyle. Are there areas that you know need to be more set-apart? Maybe you do not... Read His Truth in the scriptures, and learn to be more set-apart. My favorite place to begin for this... "In the beginning...Genesis". Enjoy the Ruach, His Set-Apart Spirit, the guide in the Truth of His Word. Seek it as a HIDDEN Treasure!

Shalom,
