What a well-known verse! But too many people shine the light on another person's path and lose track of their own way. 

A word from our Messiah comes to mind,

Matthew 7:3-5, "And why do you look at the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not notice the plank in your own eye? Or how is it that you say to your brother, 'let me remove the splinter out of your eye,' and see a plank is in your eye? Hypocrite! First, remove the plank from your own eye, and then you shall see clearly to remove the splinter out of your brother's eye." 

As each one studies the Word, it purges them, and they share with Shalom and Humility, and that person is encouraged to study the Word.

Study the Word with humility before יהוה, and let Him be your lamp and your light.
