I like the colors and I'm getting used to the layout.  I have a concern, however.  I see hearts in a couple of places on the site.  I am sure you are aware of what they represent - a woman's hind end.  I am strict on my 6 year old daughter not to give in to using this pagan symbol, and I urge you to not use it, either.  In the end, it is your site, and I am exposed to worse things on the rest of the Internet, but it does look "funny" to some of us.

SHALOM Jaime!

LONG BEFORE European Traditions, YAH CREATED HEARTS!!!  And LONG BEFORE Homosexuals, Hippies & New Agers Started Taking On Rainbows As One Of Their Symbols, ABBA CREATED RAINBOWS!  LET'S NOT LET EVIL PEOPLE STEAL FROM YAH & THY PEOPLE WHAT ORIGINATED IN HIM!!!!!  :--)

Researching a little more, I found that there are depictions of the pagan idol for wine in erotic scenes with this symbol included in the design.  This predates the Christian era by 1000 to 1500 years.  Rome also adopted this idol.  Reaching back farther, but perhaps of less significance, are pottery from the 3rd millenium BC utilizing stylized fig leaves to resemble the modern heart symbol.  After 1000 years, the Minoans adopted and adapted the symbol.  In this light, I don't think it is proper to adopt and modify a pagan symbol for use related to Yah.  The Christians have been masters at this for two thousand years.  For it, Christianity is nothing like Messiah's teachings.  We are to be set apart from, not absorbing pagan traditions.  It would be hypocritical of you to continue using them on this site, all while bashing FB for similar infractions.

Jaime: To Compare Millions Of People Spending 10 Hours A Day Or MORE Posting On FB, To The Origin Of The Heart, DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE.  I'm Also NOT A Fan Of Millions Of People Watching 25 Or So Sports Games A Week On TV, However When People Are HIGHLY Distracted By Certain Matters, It Usually DOESN'T Involve Paganism.

Also, The Sun, Fire, The Moon, Stars, Rainbows, Etc., Are ALL Creations Of YAH That Some People Use For Pagan Worship.  However, IF YAH CREATED THEM FOR THY PURPOSES, THEN THEY ARE ALL NOT PAGAN IN THEMSELVES.  The Sun Gives Us A EXCELLENT SOURCE OF VITAMIN D.

I Asked Others On This Social Network, If They Had Ever Heard Before That The Heart Is Of Pagan Origin, And They ALL Said NO.  When You First Brought This Up, U Made It Appear Like It's COMMON KNOWLEDGE.

Also, I Seen Some EXCELLENT ARGUMENTS ABOUT THANKSGIVING HAVING VERY POSITIVE ORIGINS & I'VE ALSO Seen Some EXCELLENT ARGUMENTS THAT CLAIM THAT THANKSGIVING HAS PAGAN ORIGINS.  WELL, ONE OF THOSE 2 ARGUMENTS IS WRONG, HOWEVER SINCE I WASN'T AROUND BACK THEN, I'M NOT SURE WHAT ONE IS CORRECT?

I However Am NOT A Fan Of The SO CALLED USA (Statue of Liberty), Or Nike, Etc.!  I Actually HAVEN'T Wore Nike Clothes In Possibly OVER 20 Years.

Check This Out About Nike:

GREAT POINTS Amanda!!!  I'm Personally NOT A Fan Of The So Called Star of David, Since It STRONGLY Appears To Actually Be The Seal of Shelomoh (Solomon), And Since The Menorah Is A BETTER Symbol For Yiarael!  However As Amanda Stated, 6 Pointed Stars & ALL The Starts Above Were Created By YAH!  And To Dis Credit ALL 6 Pointed Stars, Would Include At Least MILLIONS Of The Stars Above That YAH Created!  :--)

My point is, I suppose, that if this site wants to be seen as set apart, then it needs to be extra careful about the symbolism it chooses to use.  I have done research on the subject, and feel I have delved far enough back in human history to prove one way or the other.  I see no evidence that the heart symbol is representative of anything for Yah.  Yes, some plants have heart shaped leaves, and I guess if you put a bird in an unnatural pose, it's wings and back can be made into a heart.  However, it is the shape that has been made into a symbol, not the plant or animal.  One must compare apples with apples, or the argument is null.  Ivy does not represent Valentine's Day, nor does a dove.  The heart shape does, and it is because the little demon known as Cupid has made it so.  If you wish to decorate things in honor of that demon, continue, but if you want to honor Yah, then refrain from such symbolism.

Jaime:  ha satan LOVES TO TAKE CREATIONS OF YAH, AND MAKE EVIL OUT OF THEM.  HOWEVER, IF HEARTS WERE ORIGINALLY ONE OF THE ORGANS THAT PEOPLE ARE CREATED WITH, THEN I CHOOSE TO NOT LET ha satan ROB SUCH AN EXCELLENT CREATION OF YAH FROM ME!!!!!  Amanda Has Been Doing Copy & Paste With Hearts From NWO Book (FB), And I SEE NO EVIL IN THAT AT ALL.  :--)

ALSO, NOBODY ON HERE HAS PROMOTED V DAY!  I MAKE AN EFFORT TO LOVE OTHERS EVERY DAY!!!  :--)

AND IF ANYBODY EVER POSTS HEARTS WITH ARROWS THROUGH THEM ON HERE, WITHOUT KNOWING THE ORIGIN OF ARROWS THROUGH HEARTS, WE'LL HAVE THAT REMOVED!!!  :--)

hmmm  I agree with Brother Andrew about hearts, stars, sun, moon, rainbows -- They were created by Yahweh and are very good in my book.  But, some people seem to like to take what Yahweh has made and use it for their own pagan use.
